현재 버지니아 연회 소속 Probationary Elder인 최지훈 목사는 Maryland 지역의 속회와 심방을 담당하고 있으며 교회 행정을 도와 사역하고 있습니다.
1973년생으로 감리교 목사의 가정에서 자랐으며 고등학교 2학년 재학 중 도미하여 Emory University (B.A. 96) 와 Asbury Theological Seminary (M. Div. 99) 에서 수학하였습니다. 목회의 길에 들어선 이후로 조지아, 켄터키, 버지니아에서 이중문화 가정 및 청소년들과 함께 사역하였습니다.

A Probationary Elder in the Virginia Annual Conference, John Choi serves primarily with the Maryland-based small groups of the church as well as in areas of administration. He received his B.A. in history from Emory University in 1996 and an M. Div. from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky.

John came to live in the United States at the age of 17, after two years of study at one of Seoul's Foreign Language High Schools; it has been a fascinating encounter with new cultures and peoples ever since for him, including many years of life and ministry together with bi-cultural families. A new personal experience with the gospel of Christ gave him courage to step into full-time ministry in 1999. He has enjoyed meeting Christians from different cultures, particularly through the short-term mission trips. John's hobbies and interests include golf, piano and organ.
