I was born in Inchon Korea and lived in Seoul until 1975 when our family immigrated to the States and settled in Huntington Beach.

I received my M-Div from Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, California. During my seminary days, I served two churches; Choonhyun Mission Church and Full Gospel Los Angeles Church. After seminary, I attended Hebrew University and received an MA in Religious Studies and started doctoral work in Biblical Hebrew.

My wife is Ji Hyun and we have two daughters.

I have been serving KUMCGW for the last three years as the Education Pastor as well as the College Pastor. Since July 2009, I have been appointed to Vision of Peace Church as its pastor.
